David Taylor

I am currently whole school VTLE Lead Teacher at The Radclyffe School, a specialist technology college in Oldham, Greater Manchester.  The school is a member of the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust's most improved schools club and has been designated as a high performing specialist school.

Previously I have managed first KS3 and then KS4 Design & Technology. I coordinate electronics and systems & control at the school and mentor PGCE students in partnership with the University of Manchester.

In April 2007 I was identified by the Design & Technology Association as one of ten outstanding newcomers to the subject, and as such became a member of the inaugural Audi Design Foundation D&T “new talent” advisory group, now called the D&TA Innovation Group.

I also joint coordinate the Manchester Digital D&T support centre, where I am an accredited trainer for the use of ICT within ECT. I was an SSAT Lead Practitioner from May 2008 until March 2010.
